Suspended in the bush. For families and the adventurous.
The Tree House is suspended among mānuka and kānuka on the upper edge of the estate. A peek-through-trees view of Medlands Beach, an elevated deck built into the canopy, and a deep red clawfoot bath that opens to the treetops — that's become its signature. Especially good for families — where the kids get their own bunk room, deck and hammocks.

Tree House runs on solar power with battery backup. A backup generator supports the whole property if needed, so you're never left without power. During cloudy days or evenings the system may switch to battery — use larger appliances during the sunniest part of the day and be mindful of power use after dark.
Coverage on Great Barrier Island can be patchy, especially on beaches and bush walks. We recommend downloading offline maps before you arrive. Starlink WiFi is available at the property for internet access.
